In view of the weather, I though I ought to phone the hospital and make sure the clinic was still on today. Good job I did - my appointment hadn;t been logged in properly last time and they had no record of me for today! This means I won't be going for another SIX WEEKS as I had to make it for when someone can take me!
I'd got myself all psyched up for it too!
This is also the second day that the school has been closed!

Eye Clinic on tuesday
Got my check up on tuesday and I am not looking forward to it as I think my eyes may have got worse, and then on thursday I am having my white stick training. Trouble is this feels like one step too far.
I am also really missing my mum at the moment which certainly isn't helping.

Not sure about ....
.... the yarn I'm using - it's supposed to be bulky (chunky) weight but it doesn't seem right, I think it;s between an aran and a bulky weight.
Oh well, I'll have a small bag!

So Far So Good!
I am making up a felting display for the 'Open Day' our Knit'n;Natter Group are having at the Ashdown Forest Llama Park on 15th February. I have, in the past couple of year, made three bags - Market Squares (Bags a Knitter's Dozen), B4 Bag (Once in a Bllommon) and My Constant Companion - so I am currently making the 'before' versions of the same bags and am nearly at the end of the B$ Bag (Bag 2). This means there will be a completed version and an unfelted version of each bag so that visitors can see what the felting process does to the yarn.
It's tough going as at least two of the bags are knitted with worsted weight yarn held double which is a bit hard on the hands!
